Kentucky derby

That's right people it's that time of year again the great Kentucky Derby is running this weekend. Get out there and get your supplies for the big race. All the normal stuff for great sports get togethers like beer, snacks, and friends. Then pick the friends with the biggest television and have the party at their house. Remember to be responsible and find a designated driver to make sure everyone gets home safe and make sure you give them plenty of gas money. After all we have to keep lining the pockets of President Bush and all his buddies. Something else to throw at you no one buy gas on May 15 to show how we feel about these gas prices. Anyway I'm hoping Storm in May wins if a horse that's blind in one eye can make it to the Kentucky Derby then I think they deserve a win. Good luck on your favorite horses everyone later.

party season

Well it's that time of year again that's right graduation time. For about the next month or two I will be putting in extra hours at work. The bad thing is when the majority of your customers are kids you don't make a whole lot of tips. Tonight I had the joy of having a sweet sixteen party at the bar and it was three different families that went in on it together. Surprisingly they were well behaved I think it had something to do with the fact that their parents were present. Thank god. Well I'm tired and have to work again tomorrow at 1 pm so talk to you later all.

Warm weather activities

Yes finally warm weather is here I have been so busy. We have been mushroom hunting, rock hunting, getting the yard and garden ready, and now we have a new addition to our family. My friend gave me a two year old female rottweiler. She is a very hyper dog with a fetish for balls she wants to play nonstop I have to hide the toys at night or she will bug you all night. Her and my dingo dog get along great already the cat and her are still working out some kinks.She's just so big and clumsy and she don't realize she is. She's not trying to hurt the cat just wants to be friends but he says not till you mellow out. The cat has already showed her that he rules the roost he even ate a piece of her dog food right in front of her to show he wasn't afraid. Well time to go do some digging and start planting everyone will be home soon so I can put them to work. Bye.

Morels are here

I found my first morels yesterday. They were just little one but they are out. Today I have to work all day figures it's nice out. but then I have the rest of the week to hunt for more morel mushrooms. Me and my friend are going out again Tuesday. So get out there and start looking everyone but make sure you save some for me. OK I'm off to work good luck all bye.

Morel Mushrooms

As the cold snap continues everyone is getting mushroom fever. There have been a few stories that a few were found before the cold snap hit. You really never know for sure until you find your own. I myself hope that after this weekend it decides to warm up so I can go look around for that little elusive mushroom everyone wants the great morel mushroom. Here we are almost halfway through April and they are talking snow tomorrow. Come on mother nature give us a break all my stuff outside is already dying off please don't kill off mushroom season too.
