Festive elk

There's a drunken elk terrorizing children in Sweden. Apparently an elk has been eating fermented apples from the garden and getting drunk off them. Elk's can weigh over a thousand pounds, this could be a problem. The easy solution I think would be go out and pick up all the fallen apples so he can't eat them.
